It’s another tough assignment for Danny Rohl’s side who, like Rob Edwards’ Luton Town have won just once in the league this season.
Ahead of the weekend, Wednesday sit in 20th place of the Championship table and Luton sit in 19th.
Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with QPR in their last outing which ended a run of three-straight defeats for the Owls.
Luton meanwhile picked up their first win of the season, beating Millwall at The Den just weeks after Wednesday were thumped 3-0 by the Lions.
Last time Sheffield Wednesday played Luton at Kenilworth Road, Josh Windass gave Wednesday a 2-0 lead at half-time, though the game ended 3-2 in favour of the Hatters.

Sheffield Wednesday team and injury news v Luton Town
Thankfully for Rohl and his first-team, there’s not too many injuries concerns right now.
Before the QPR game, Rohl revealed a potential injury crisis at centre-back, but Michael Ihiekwe went on to feature vs QPR and Di’Shon Bernard scored vs Blackpool in midweek.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Rohl said that Dominic Iorfa could return v Luton Town.
Meanwhile, Ben Hamer remains injured, along with midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah who doesn’t seem to be nearing a return to action.

Sheffield Wednesday predicted XI v Luton Town
After looking a lot better v QPR, expect Rohl to retain the same back-five formation, especially with this Luton game being away from home.
Expect Iorfa to start on the bench if he’s fit to do so, but expect Bernard to come back into the XI after starting the game vs Blackpool.
Bernard’s return to the Xi would likely mean Akin Famewo dropping back down to the bench.
Elsewhere, Rohl might now have a midfield dilemma with Svante Ingelsson earning praise vs Blackpool, and with many fans wanting to see an Ingelsson and Shea Charles partnership given a try.
Barry Bannan surely keeps his spot though, but we could see some changes in the attacking front-line, with Wednesday having scored just once since their opening day win vs Plymouth Argyle back in August.
