Danny Rohl must look towards one Sheffield Wednesday man following the defeat against Millwall.
The Owls were undone on Saturday away at Millwall as Danny Rohl’s side lost 3-0, making it three successive league defeats for Sheffield Wednesday.
It was far from being an inspired performance from Sheffield Wednesday, who don’t seem to have kicked on following their first two victories of the season against both Plymouth Argyle in the Championship and Hull City in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Defensively, there was very little to celebrate, as well as on the attacking front, with Sheffield Wednesday once again failing to score in the Championship, as they had done in their two games prior against Leeds United and Sunderland, where they lost 2-0 and 4-0 respectively.
As a result, Rohl should undoubtedly look towards one player who has been given very little game time so far as an option to stop the goal drought.

The away trip to The Den proved that Sheffield Wednesday quite simply are not clinical enough in front of goal, and as a result Rohl should look towards his selection as a potential reason.
Whilst Anthony Musaba certainly has been exciting to watch and has posed a threat when it comes to his dribbling abilities, his clinical side is simply non-existent at this moment, and the game against Millwall saw that ‘his touch wasn’t always there’ and that he ‘lost his man’ for Millwall’s second goal, per The Star.
There is no doubt that Rohl could easily turn to new Sheffield Wednesday signing Olaf Kobacki to provide this attacking threat that is desperately needed at this moment.
Olaf Kobacki deserves a chance based on recent Sheffield Wednesday performances
Kobacki is yet to start a league game for Rohl’s side, with the Polish winger being handed just 43 minutes of action so far this season in the Championship.
He has been given opportunities in the EFL Cup against both Hull City and Grimsby Town, with both games ending as victories, however both Musaba and Djeidi Gassama have had their places on either wing cemented for league games.
Whilst it is at a differing level, Kobacki was still clinical last season in the Polish second division, scoring 13 goals and notching five assists whilst playing out wide, and with these stats it is surprising that Rohl hasn’t looked towards the winger yet.
The recent goal drought is calling out for a change in the attacking lineup for Rohl’s side, and Kobacki coming in should be that change that the German boss must consider.
