Sheffield Wednesday came so close to victory on Saturday afternoon but ended up drawing 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers in bizarre fashion.
Danny Rohl was looking for a big response having lost 3-0 at Millwall before the international break.
Sheffield Wednesday appeared to be heading towards a 0-0 draw as time ticked down but Barry Bannan had other ideas.
The Scot has been a magician for Wednesday over many years now and produced another moment of brilliance with a stunning left-footed strike.
Wednesday appeared to have won it with 93 minutes on the clock but QPR come up with a frankly ridiculous equaliser.
Alfie Lloyd pounced to snatch a last-gasp leveller for the R’s after an almost comical goalmouth scramble, leaving Rohl cursing his side’s set piece defending.

QPR boss on Sheffield Wednesday
This one will feel like two points lost for Wednesday.
A point would have been just fine but to have the game won with an injury-time goal only to concede the scrappiest goal of all time feels so frustrating.
Rohl played with three at the back against QPR and it so very nearly brought a victory but it just wasn’t to be.
QPR will be buzzing with their late goal and boss Marti Cifuentes has heaped praise on how Wednesday play under Rohl.
Speaking on QPR’s official website, Cifuentes suggested that his side lacked quality to break through Wednesday’s pressing in the first half.
The Spaniard suggested that Wednesday make it so difficult to play, branding the pressing under Rohl as ‘highly aggressive’.
Cifuentes feels that Wednesday are always looking to force mistakes but QPR battled away and improved after the break.
“We lacked a little bit of quality to get through Sheffield Wednesday’s press and attack behind them in the first half. But we were much better after half-time,” said Cifuentes.
“It’s not easy to play against Sheffield Wednesday. They are highly aggressive in their pressing and the way they play is about forcing you into a mistake.
“Like I said, we need to be better than we were in the first half but we were. It’s important in this league that you are able to stay in games when the opposition are on top. We managed to create some chances in the second half and then they scored with one of the few chances they had after half-time,” he added.
Wednesday a challenge for any side
Rohl has completely changed Wednesday’s fortunes; this time last year, Wednesday were about to lose to Ipswich Town and take just one point from the first six games.
The start to this season has been a little mixed with Wednesday winning just once and losing three times in the first five.
Owls fans certainly know that they are seeing a major improvement from the Xisco Munoz era though and Rohl has turned Wednesday into a side nobody wants to face.
More points on the board would be great but Wednesday are on the right path with the right man at the helm.
Josh Windass may not be too happy with his playing time but Wednesday are a much better outfit than a year ago and Cifuentes is echoing the thoughts of many Championship managers with Rohl continuing to re-energise Wednesday.
