Sheffield Wednesday will be forced into injury-enforced changes for their clash vs Coventry.
The Owls will be hoping to get back to winning ways as they face a trip to Coventry City in the Championship.
Danny Rohl’s side have picked up four points in their last two games, with a notably impressive home win against West Brom looking to have been a potential turning point for the Owls after a lacklustre start to the 2024/25 campaign.
Whilst Sheffield Wednesday earned a point on the road at Ashton Gate, it was a performance that not many Owls fans will be eager to watch back as Rohl’s side were once again up against the cosh on the road, and they will certainly have to show more attacking prowess this time out in order to stand a chance against the Sky Blues.
Unfortunately Rohl has some key injuries to deal with ahead of the clash, which will inevitably sway his decision on who starts against Coventry City.

Sheffield Wednesday injury news vs Coventry City
Rohl suffered a double injury blow in the away draw against Bristol City, with both Liam Palmer and Olaf Kobacki looking to be doubts for the clash.
Ben Hamer looks to be nearing a return having missed every league game so far due to a hand injury sustained during the pre-season, although won’t likely be thrown in after tallying 90 minutes at youth level.
Nathaniel Chalobah looks set to continue his spell on the sidelines and won’t be available.

Sheffield Wednesday predicted XI vs Bristol City
Despite the competition in-between the sticks for Sheffield Wednesday, which includes recently called-up Northern Ireland international Pierce Charles, James Beadle is set to get another 90 minutes for the Owls.
As a result of the costly injury sustained by Palmer vs Bristol City, Michael Ihiekwe is set to return to action, who will be placed alongside Akin Famewo and Di’Shon Bernard, the latter of which shone last time out.
After struggling on several occasions in the midweek clash, Marvin Johnson could be dropped back to the bench, with Rohl potentially taking the opportunity to hand the left wing-back slot back to Max Lowe.
The centre-of-the-park will likely be unchanged, however it is looking likely that a new-look frontline will be leading the line for the Owls as Ike Ugbo has simply not proven enough to be worthy of a start at striker, despite being regarded as an ‘important’ cog in Rohl’s side, and as a result it could see Michael Smith replace him.
Anthony Musaba will likely continue to be utilised on the right flank, however the German boss may look towards handing Djeidi Gassama a start as a result of the congested fixture list, which could see Windass handed a necessary break on the bench.
Here is how we think Sheffield Wednesday will line up vs Coventry City…
James Beadle (GK), Akin Famewo, Di’Shon Bernard, Michael Ihiekwe, Max Lowe, Yan Valery, Barry Bannan, Shea Charles, Djeidi Gassama, Anthony Musaba, Michael Smith
