Sheffield Wednesday fans have made their thoughts heard on one player, following his lacklustre performance vs Bristol City.
Sheffield Wednesday picked up a point on the road on Wednesday night, drawing 0-0 with Bristol City.
Despite the point, Wednesday drop down to 19th place in the Championship table after the opening eight games.
On a positive note though, Wednesday picked up their first clean sheet since the opening day win against Plymouth Argyle, with James Beadle impressing vs Bristol City.
But one Sheffield Wednesday did not impress on Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday fans critical of Ike Ugbo vs Bristol City
Ike Ugbo was completely isolated in the game against Bristol City, stats…
In recent weeks, Ugbo has been criticised for his poor form. He’s yet to score in the Championship this season following his £3million move from Troyes during the summer, and fans are losing patience.
One supporter posted on X: “Absolutely pointless playing Ugbo,” with another sharing similar feelings, posting: “Ugbo is not a target man and not in the game.”
“Ugbo has done absolutely nothing so far,” read another comment, with journalist Dom Howson adding: “Does Ugbo suit this system? Sheffield Wednesday are certainly not playing his strength at the moment.”
Meanwhile, there were cries for Michael Smith to start. “Never thought I’d be saying this, eight games in but Smith should be starting,” said one Owls fan.

How can Danny Rohl get Ike Ugbo firing again
Rohl faces a real dilemma with regards to Ugbo; it’s clear that this formation doesn’t suit him, but it’s also clear that this current formation is working much better.
Ugbo performs better with a strike partner, or at least a no.10 playing behind him, whereas this current formation leaves him very isolated.
So for Rohl, dropping Ugbo for the likes of Smith seems like the best thing to do right now.
Ugbo remains a prolific striker and if Rohl can find a set up that keeps Wednesday steady at both ends of the pitch, but also gets Ugbo firing again, then Wednesday could rediscover the kind of form they had in the second half of last season.
