Sheffield Wednesday could confirm a deal for one of their loan players as early as Friday.
Sheffield Wednesday have taken full advantage of the loan market over the last few months.
On the incomings front, the Owls were able to secure a deal for Southampton sensation Shea Charles.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation since his move to Hillsborough despite the squad as a whole struggling.
Sheffield Wednesday lost to Luton Town this past weekend but Charles showed exactly why Danny Rohl signed him with his standout performance against the Hatters.
The Yorkshire outfit also reinforced their goalkeeping department with a loan move for Brighton and Hove Albion gem, James Beadle.
The 20-year-old has started every Championship fixture so far this term, with Beadle making his England U21 debut earlier this month.
As well as bringing in some top talent, Wednesday also allowed a couple of their own young stars to depart on a temporary basis.

Sheffield Wednesday make Mackenzie Maltby decision
Mackenzie Maltby is a product of Sheffield Wednesday’s academy but is yet to make an appearance under Rohl.
The 19-year-old made it onto the bench during an FA Cup clash with Coventry City last season but did not come on.
As a result, it made sense for the Owls to sanction a loan move during the 2024 summer transfer window.
Maltby joined Scarborough on a short-term deal last month and has since impressed for the North Yorkshire outfit, winning a Man of the Match award in his last outing.
And while Maltby’s deal was set to expire on September 28th, Scarborough manager Jonathan Greening has now confirmed that Wednesday have agreed to an extension and it could be confirmed as earlier as Friday, September 27th, as per The Star.
He said: “I’ve just got off the phone with Sheffield Wednesday and it’s hopefully all agreed that he can stay on for an extra month.
“His loan actually ends after Saturday’s game. Fingers crossed that Macca agrees to it, but it’s all been sorted that he can stay for an extra month.
“I’m sure he’ll want to stay because he’s been playing really well, he got man of the match on Saturday. Hopefully, it will all be signed and sorted by tomorrow (Friday), fingers crossed.”

How the other Sheffield Wednesday loanees are faring this season
Maltby has been in top form this season but some other Sheffield Wednesday loanees are struggling.
Bailey Cadamarteri joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan last month despite being a regular feature in the Championship last season.
The 19-year-old has not had the most prolific start to life in League One, with the striker still yet to get off the mark in his first four appearances for his new club.
Lincoln boss Michael Skubala gave his verdict on Cadamarteri recently and explained why he has had such a slow start.
But given the form he showed last season, it is likely only a matter of time before the teenager reaches his full potential for the Imps.
Elsewhere, Wednesday have let Mallik Wilks join Rotherham United for the duration of 2024/25.
The 25-year-old has made six appearances for Rotherham so far and scored his first goal in a huge 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town at the end of August.
