Sheffield Wednesday faced off with Luton Town in a Championship fixture on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls have had a mixed start to the 2024/25 season, to say the least.
After Sheffield Wednesday smashed Plymouth Argyle 4-0 on the opening day, there was a belief that a relegation scrap would be off the cards in the current campaign.
However, despite all the new arrivals over the summer, Danny Rohl and his men are once again facing the prospect of fighting it out in the bottom half of the Championship table.
The Yorkshire outfit faced off with recently relegated Luton Town on Saturday and were underdogs going into the match.
The away side had failed to win any of their following league matches since beating Plymouth, with their last game seeing Sheffield Wednesday draw 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers.
In turn, it came as little surprise when Luton beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 over the weekend.

‘Combative’ Sheffield Wednesday star shines vs Luton Town
A number of Wednesday players impressed during the game despite suffering a 2-1 loss.
But it was Shea Charles who stood out among the crowd and showed exactly why he can be a top player for Rohl.
Charles joined Sheffield Wednesday from Southampton this summer and big things were expected of him.
The former Manchester City academy product has not disappointed either and was praised heavily on Saturday.
Joe Crann from the Sheffield Star gave him an 8/10 player rating in his post-match verdict.
He wrote: “Shea Charles – 8 – A really combative display from the midfielder in the centre of the park for Wednesday. Had a bit of everything to his game and played a huge part in the performance.”
Sofascore also gave the player, who won 10 duels and made five tackles, a 7.1 rating.

Shea Charles is exactly what Danny Rohl needs
Sheffield Wednesday’s midfield department has been a weak area for some time but Charles is already showing he is exactly what Rohl needs right now.
The Northern Ireland international is the epitome of what a modern midfielder should be.
He is physical, athletic, very comfortable on the ball and able to dictate play with ease while also being an excellent tackler and having a tireless work-rate.
Charles has only played three league games for Sheffield Wednesday following his summer move but it is already clear he can become a top player for the Owls.
However, Rohl will no doubt be keen to find a suitable long-term partner for the youngster in the upcoming transfer windows.
Wednesday are next in action on September 28th versus West Bromwich Albion and really need to pick up three points to get their faltering season back on track.
