Danny Rohl may be ruing not bringing this one player to Sheffield Wednesday.
Sheffield Wednesday have so far made 10 new signings this summer, and they look set to complete some more.
Recent reports have revealed that Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign Shea Charles on loan from Southampton.
And after a couple of poor results and poor performances against Sunderland and Leeds United respectively, Danny Rohl may be keen on bolstering some other areas on the pitch.
Rohl is keen on signing another striker, per reports, but the Owls look set to miss out on Mark O’Mahony who’s poised to join Portsmouth.
The wide areas may be bolstered before the August 30th transfer deadline as well.
Fans were unimpressed with Anthony Musaba against Leeds United last Friday, with the Dutchman failing to find any end product on the night.
One winger who was linked with a move to Hillsborough this summer was Karamoko Dembele.
He’s since signed for QPR, and he’s already making a big impression.

Karamoko Dembele shining for QPR after Sheffield Wednesday miss out on deal
Sheffield Wednesday were keen on signing Dembele from Brest earlier this summer.
It even went as far as the Owls lodging a bid for the former Celtic gem, but he signed for Championship rivals QPR earlier this month.
Dembele has started the last two games for QPR. The R’s drew at home to Plymouth last time out in what was also Dembele’s home debut for the R’s.
The 21-year-old assisted QR’s only goal on the day, making a staggering nine key passes and winning five out of seven duels.
Karamoko Dembele would’ve been perfect for Sheffield Wednesday
Musaba’s performance vs Leeds summed up Sheffield Wednesday’s struggles right now.
They have the ability to hurt teams, but like Musaba against Leeds, they aren’t doing enough in the final third.
Dembele though is proving that he can find that killer pass in the final third and that he can create scoring opportunities for his teammates.
It wouldn’t have been a cheap move for Sheffield Wednesday. But it could’ve been one that really improved Rohl’s options in attack.
Despite all the positivity surrounding Sheffield Wednesday in the summer and after the 4-0 win vs Plymouth, the hype has died down somewhat.
Teams seem to have figured out Rohl’s style of play and now the German needs to come up with a Plan B.
