Sheffield Wednesday are ready to bolster their attack even further after making nine signings.
The Owls have been very busy in the summer transfer window so far and have brought in three new forwards after finishing the previous campaign with the second-lowest goal tally.
Olaf Kobacki, Jamal Lowe and Charlie McNeill have all joined Sheffield Wednesday as they look to add goals and creativity to their ranks.
While Danny Rohl had already admitted he now wants to focus on the midfield and central defence, it now looks like he is eager to bring one ‘special’ winger to the club.
Sheffield Wednesday make offer for Karamoko Dembele
According to journalist Darren Witcoop, Wednesday have made an offer to sign Brest’s Karamoko Dembele.
Witcoop wrote on X: “Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and Portsmouth have all made offers to French side Brest for winger Karamoko Dembele. Dembele impressed in League One at Blackpool last season. Bolton have also confirmed an interest.”
Dembele previously hit the headlines as a teenager at Celtic, when he made his U20 debut aged only 13 years old. The youngster went onto make his senior debut in 2019 but failed to make an impact going forward and was released three years later.
Dembele failed to make his mark for Brest too and was still awaiting his first goal for the French club when he joined Blackpool on loan last season.
The 21-year-old quickly found his feet in League One though, being named their Young Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Player of the Season as he bagged eight goals and 13 assists.
Dembele has since attracted a lot of attention from the EFL and Wednesday were credited with holding interest in him back in May.
It was reported earlier today that the attacker had been ‘offered’ to a long list of clubs and it now appears that the Owls have submitted their own bid to try and lure him to Hillsborough.

While he had a tough start to his senior career, Dembele looks to have finally hit the ground running in English football.
The former England U18 international made the fifth-most key passes in League One last season (77), made 50 successful dribbles and had the third-most assists in the third division.
If he can continue his form into the Championship then it would be an exceptional signing for Rohl, while the Yorkshire outfit will surely be one of the more desirable destinations for Dembele.
Wednesday look the most likely to avoid relegation out of the three clubs to have made offers, while he also has a good chance at picking up regular minutes.
It’s definitely one to watch for supporters and they could potentially be on course for one of the signings of the summer if he is able to pick up where he left off at Bloomfield Road.
