Sheffield Wednesday made it nine summer signings over the weekend as they signed Nathaniel Chalobah.
The Owls have looked to bolster all areas of the pitch, having brought in two goalkeepers, two defenders, two midfielders and three attackers.
Sheffield Wednesday were left a little light when a number of players left at the end of their contracts and Danny Rohl has now acted to build a squad capable of challenging further up the Championship table.
It now looks like the club could reach double figures in the transfer window though, with the German boss not satisfied just yet.
Rohl is eager to bring in more players before the season begins and has named the two positions he wants to add to this summer.

Speaking to The Star, Rohl said: “It’s difficult to say a number, but of course we look for some positions.
“I think if you look at the positions we have signed in, I am very happy with the full-back positions, it’s a good challenge. We have done something in the wing positions, we have done something in the striker position. All in all we know we have to do something in the midfield, it is important, we want to do something in the centre-backs as well. Then we can go forward.
“It is important we have nearly the squad ready to train with them. We are close, not final, but we are close to that. Then it is about hopefully finding some diamonds in the market. That is about timing, what happens, but the crucial thing for me was to go into the pre-season with a good squad.”
Di’Shon Bernard needs a new defensive partner
While Dominic Iorfa has signed a new contract, Wednesday are yet to discover whether Di’Shon Bernard will commit his future to the club.
Either way, the Owls’ central defence definitely needs strengthening – especially if Rohl opts to play three at the back.
Bernard would be like a new signing in itself, but he needs teammates that are prepared to push for the play-offs rather than just avoid relegation.
