It’s where the Owls played their last game of the 2023/24 season and where Danny Rohl and his side secured Championship safety.
Sheffield Wednesday beat Sunderland 2-0 on the day thanks to goals from Liam Palmer and Josh Windass.
Since then, both Palmer and Windass have signed new deals in S6, with 10 new signings having arrived at Hillsborough.
The opening day of the season saw Sheffield Wednesday beat Plymouth Argyle 4-0, before claiming a 2-1 win vs Hull City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Rohl named a completely changed Sheffield Wednesday XI for the game against Hull; despite that, the Owls looked good, with Sheffield Wednesday fans impressed by Sean Fusire among others.
Fusire may be one of several who’ve come into contention to make the squad on Sunday.
But two Wednesday players look set to miss out.
Sheffield Wednesday duo Akin Famewo and Nathaniel Chalobah suffer injury setbacks
Neither Akin Famewo or summer signing Nathaniel Chalobah have featured in a matchday squad for Sheffield Wednesday this season.
Chalobah signed for Sheffield Wednesday as a free agent following his West Brom release, but featured just once in pre-season for the Owls.
Speaking to The Star after the game against Hull, Rohl revealed that the pair have suffered ‘small’ injury setbacks.
Rohl said: “Akin has a small injury but it looks good, he trained today [Wednesday] in the morning individually.
“He comes close to being back and Nathaniel also has a small one, we must look week to week now.
“It has happened and that is the reason we need depth in the squad, it gives a chance for the young players to show up.”

Why Nathaniel Chalobah injury could dictate Sheffield Wednesday transfer business
Chalobah is no stranger to injuries, having missed large parts of previous seasons owing to injury troubles.
His latest setback, although minor, may be a worry of what’s to come for the 29-year-old this season.
And it’s no secret that Rohl wants to sign a new central midfielder this month, with several linked.
Recent reports have revealed that Sheffield Wednesday want to sign Malick Yalcouye on loan from Brighton, with Fortuna Sittard’s Loreintz Rosier also a target.
If Chalobah can’t soon make a full return to fitness then it could force Rohl and Sheffield Wednesday into the transfer market for a new midfielder, and that could make it even harder for Chalobah to break into the XI.
