There’s bound to be a lot of movement in the final day of the transfer window, with Sheffield Wednesday potentially busy.
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Shea Charles on loan from Southampton, and that may well conclude the Owls’ summer business.
Though it seems clear that Danny Rohl would favour one or two more signings before the August 30th transfer deadline.
The Owls have been in talks multiple strikers but have missed out on Brighton’s Mark O’Mahony, who’s poised to join Portsmouth on loan.

Former Sheffield Wednesday star Lucas Joao wanted by Championship clubs
Lucas Joao, 30, is a free agent after a brief spell in Qatar with Umm Salal.
The Angolan international was in China with Shanghai Port before that, having left Sheffield Wednesday way back in 2019.
Joao was brought in shortly after the appointment of Carlos Carvalhal in the summer of 2015 and in four years scored 29 and assisted 13 more in 127 total games for the Owls.
He sealed a £5million move to Reading in 2019. But Joao could now be on his way back to England with journalist Darren Witcoop revealing Championship interest in the striker.

Although Witcoop doesn’t name any teams in the running to sign Joao, he hinted in the comments that Cardiff City could be one of the teams interested.
For Cardiff, who’ve started the season poorly with just one point on the board, currently sitting in last place, the signing of a proven and prolific striker in Joao could be crucial.
Wednesday fans always regarded Joao as a player with great technical ability, and he went on to show with Reading that he can be very prolific in the second tier too, scoring 45 goals in 119 appearances for the Royals.
But his injury record has held him back in the past and that’ll be the main concern for any team potentially signing Joao this summer.
