Sean Fusire has the perfect platform to develop at Sheffield Wednesday

Players in Fusire’s position often have to develop away from the club, with loan moves often getting sanctioned in order to bridge the gap between youth football and being in-and-around a Championship squad.

However, the alternative approach being taken with the youngster could be massively beneficial for his development and career.

Whilst Fusire certainly won’t be dropped into first team league football, he will still be amongst the first team, which is full of experienced heads such as Barry Bannan and Nathaniel Chalobah, who will both act as mentors for the youngster.

He is also being coached by a manager who has identified his talents from such a young age, and there aren’t many better coaches in regards to nurturing young talents than Rohl.

It will be expected that Fusire is hand-fed league experience across the next month or so, but from what he has shown in his minimal first team action so far, there is no doubt that he can live up to the task of Championship football.
