Sheffield Wednesday appear keen to further bolster their ranks before the summer transfer window slams shut.
The summer transfer window will officially close on August 30th.
Before then, Sheffield Wednesday look set to further bolster their first-team squad, having already signed 10 new players this summer.
Last week, Sheffield Wednesday completed the signing of Ike Ugbo to take their summer transfer haul into double figures.

In the transfer market, the Owls seem keen on signing a new central midfielder.
Brighton’s Malick Yalocuye is a target for Sheffield Wednesday, who’ve already made contact over a possible loan deal for the 18-year-old Malian midfielder.
It’s claimed that Sheffield Wednesday have tracked Yalcouye for some time now, with the youngster having left IFK Goteborg for Brighton in a £6million deal this summer.
Now though, there’s a new name on Wednesday’s transfer radar.
Sheffield Wednesday linked with Fortuna Sittard’s Loreintz Rosier
Earlier this summer, it was claimed that Sheffield Wednesday were very light on central midfielders.
Rohl now looks determined to dd another before August 30th, with a new central player now thought to be of interest.
The Star report that Fortuna Sittard midfielder Loreintz Rosier is a target for the Owls this summer.
The same report adds that the 6ft 3ins Frenchman is ‘thought to be one of several’ names mentioned as possible summer transfer targets.
Rosier began his career in the lower leagues of France before moving to Portugal with Vitoria Guimaraes B and then Estoril, before joining Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch Eredivisie in 2023.
Last season, defensive-minded midfielder Rosier featured 30 times in the Dutch top flight, scoring once.

With the summer arrivals of Svante Ingelsson and Nathaniel Chalobah, Sheffield Wednesday have some varied profiles of midfielders.
And now links to Yalcouye and Rosier suggest that the Owls want a more defensive midfielder, with both Yalcouye and Rosier appearing like different profiles again.
Rosier seems like a more brute fore in the middle; his height could be a huge advantage for Sheffield Wednesday, especially so at set pieces and when playing against teams who like to play long.
He’s out of contract in 2025 and so he’d cost a transfer fee.
But after spending £3million on Ugbo, and money on the likes of Olaf Kobacki ad Yan Valery this summer, whether or not Dejphon Chansiri can afford Rosier remains to be seen.
