Sheffield Wednesday could be in store for a busy end to the summer transfer window.
What’s already been a busy summer transfer window at Sheffield Wednesday could yet become more so.
With little over two weeks left of the summer transfer window, the Owls are being linked with a number of potential new signings.
Sheffield Wednesday completed the signing of Ike Ugbo last week to take their summer signings tally into the double figures.
Since, Danny Rohl’s side have been linked with Brighton’s Malick Yalcouye, who could potentially move to Hillsborough on loan following his move from IFK Goteborg to Brighton this summer.
Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday are eyeing Loreintz Rosier at Fortuna Sittard following his impressive 2023/24 season in the Eredivisie.
Midfield seems like a key position for Rohl and head of recruitment Kevin Beadell in these final weeks of the summer transfer window.
But now it appears as though the Owls could add another striker to their ranks, with Bailey Cadamarteri poised to leave on loan.

Sheffield Wednesday linked with Brighton’s Mark O’Mahony
Sheffield Wednesday have bolstered their attacking ranks well this summer.
Rohl has welcomed Ugbo back to S6, along with Charlie McNeill following his Manchester United release, and Jamal Lowe following his Bournemouth release.
Now though, The Athletic say that Sheffield Wednesday are interested in a possible loan deal for Brighton striker Mark O’Mahony.
The 19-year-old Irishman joined Brighton from Cork City in 2022 and made three Premier League appearances for the Seagulls last season.
The Athletic’s report adds that O’Mahony is poised to leave the south coast club on loan this summer.

Danny Rohl must throw caution to potential Mark O’Mahony deal at Sheffield Wednesday
Brighton are producing some very good young players and O’Mahony could be the next.
The fact that he featured three times in the Premier League last season suggests that the Seagulls hold him in very high regards.
And that would make sense given the fact that he’s scored 14 goals in 21 Premier league 2 appearances for the club.
But he remains very experienced, and very raw, and Rohl already has the likes of McNeill to give game time to, and as of right now, Cadamarteri too.
So bringing in O’Mahony; whilst it would bolster the attacking department, could restrict the likes of McNeill when it comes to game time, and Sheffield Wednesday would surely rather develop their own instead of another team’s player.
