This leaves the opportunity for Sheffield Wednesday to consider a move for the youngster who has previously spent time in South Yorkshire on loan with Doncaster Rovers in the 2022/23 League Two campaign.
The defender has also been handed a taste of Championship football in the 2023/24 season with title winners Leicester City, tallying five games and a goal at home to Queens Park Rangers.
