Sheffield Wednesday had an outing to forget on Saturday afternoon, losing 2-0 at home to Burnley.
Sheffield Wednesday now find themselves in 17th place of the Championship table ahead of their Tuesday evening clash against Swansea City at Hillsborough.
It was another performance with both positives and negatives for Danny Rohl’s side, but on the whole, fans are focussing on the negatives.
Sheffield Wednesday fans are critical of Yan Valery after his error lead to Burnley’s opening goal.
Meanwhile, Ike Ugbo continues to struggle in front of goal; he’s not scored a league goal since April now.
And Olaf Kobacki was handed a poor rating against Burnley after what was a frustrating performance for him. But there’s positive news elsewhere in the Football League.
Owls academy gem Bailey Cadamarteri was on the scoresheet once again for Lincoln City in League One.

Bailey Cadamarteri scores in Lincoln City defeat
On Saturday, Lincoln City hosted League One title hopefuls Birmingham City, eventually losing the game 3-1.
But the Imps took the lead after just one minute. Cadamarteri poked the ball home after a long throw-in, netting his third Lincoln City goal and his second in as many games.
After scoring four in 23 Championship outings for the Owls last season, Cadamarteri currently has two in seven for the Imps.
Sheffield Wednesday fans call for Bailey Cadamarteri recall
During the defeat against Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday fans were making their feelings be known.
There was a lot of criticism aimed at Ugbo and the overall poor attacking quality of the performance.
There was also several cries for Cadamarteri to be recalled in January. One Owls fan posted on X: “Do Wednesday have a call back for Bailey Cadamarteri? Because we don’t have anyone else who can score chances.”

Will Sheffield Wednesday recall Bailey Cadamarteri in January?
Upon Cadamarteri’s move to Lincoln City during the summer transfer window, there was no mention of a possible recall clause being inserted into the deal.
Besides, Wednesday sent Cadamarteri to Lincoln City to gain some first-team experience and at a level that might be more suited to his current ability.
Returning to the Championship in January would not only see him sharing the starting spot with Ugbo or whomever else, or coming off the bench, but playing Championship football when he’s arguably still not ready for it.
Cadamarteri is clearly gaining good experience in League One and getting better every week. Recalling him in January wouldn’t make a lot of sense, even despite the lack of goals in the side right now.
