Sheffield Wednesday striker Bailey Cadamarteri has finally sealed his loan exit from the club.
Bailey Cadamarteri has been a talking point at Sheffield Wednesday throughout the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old appeared to face a uncertain summer with a potential loan exit from Hillsborough having been up in the air.
It comes after his breakthrough season with the first-team last time round, with Cadamarteri scoring four goals in 23 Championship outings for the Owls.
Following the arrivals of the likes of Jamal Lowe, Charlie McNeill, and then Ike Ugbo earlier this month, it seemingly pushed Cadamarteri down the pecking order.
But amid uncertainty over Michael Smith’s future, there was a thought that Cadamarteri may well have been kept in S6 for this season.
On Wednesday though, Lincoln City announced the loan signing of Cadamarteri.
It seems like a good signing for both parties with the Imps in need of a striker and Cadamarteri in need of regular game time in the Football League.

Bailey Cadamarteri Instagram post after sealing Sheffield Wednesday loan exit
Following his move to Lincoln City, Cadamarteri took to Instagram to share his excitement at the deal.
And several of his Owls teammates commented, congratulating the 19-year-old and wishing him good luck.
Barry Bannan commented ‘All the best pal’, Josh Windass commented ‘Go on son’, and Liam Palmer added ‘All the best mate’.
Meanwhile, some of Cadamarteri’s fellow Owls youngsters reacted, with Pierce Charles commenting ‘Go time’ and Rio Shipston commenting ‘Good luck sir.
McNeill also added ‘Good luck brother’.
Why Bailey Cadamarteri can be a hit with Lincoln City
League One is very demanding and can be very physically challenging, as many Sheffield Wednesday fans and of course players know.
But Cadamarteri is well-built for a 19-year-old and so he may be in good stead to go and perform very well with Lincoln.
The Imps play a very neat and attacking style of play. For Cadamarteri, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to impress and many goal-scoring opportunities too, so it’s a move that certainly makes a lot of sense.
And on the whole, Cadamarteri moving out on loan and dropping down to League One seems to make a lot of sense in general.
Expect Danny Rohl and his coaching staff to keep a close eye on his progression, as well as his teammates who are obviously keen for him to do well with his temporary club.
