Not only that, but Bernard signing on a three-year deal could see the Owls cash in on the former Manchester United man lter down the line.
Crann said: “I think that is huge for Wednesday. It’s so multifaceted as well because of the potential that he has both on the pitch and in terms of potential growth financially, and what he could be worth to the club.
“So much praise needs to be given out for that, because Wednesday have got this young, very good central defender tied down on a three-year deal now.”
