One under-pressure Sheffield Wednesday star was back to his best in the win vs Coventry City.
The Owls managed a surprising victory on their travels as Danny Rohl’s side came out as 2-1 victors against Coventry City.
It saw Sheffield Wednesday finally capitalise on a brilliant performance away from home and come away with a deserved three points, whereas previous games have seen them fall short in regards to tangible points, whilst still putting in a positive showing.
Rohl’s side had many top performers, including goalscorer Djeidi Gassama, who managed to successfully slot in for the unavailable Josh Windass, whilst Shea Charles also bagged his first goal for Wednesday in some style.
There was also a solid performance put on by one player who was instrumental in the late goal for the Owls, and after receiving flak for his recent performances, he has most certainly responded in decent fashion.

Anthony Musaba defended after recent Sheffield Wednesday performances
This season has seen Sheffield Wednesday winger Anthony Musaba provide a significant threat on the attack, but his confidence has seemingly lacked in front of goal, with him scoring just one goal so far this season.
Whilst he didn’t add to his tally last time out against Coventry City, he was instrumental in the build up by providing the assist to Charles, where he managed to play the midfielder through on goal.
Dom Howson has praised the winger after he has received some flak for his performance, as he wrote, via X: “Noticed Musaba got a few pelters after his quiet performance at Bristol City. Not everything he tries comes off, but AM has delivered telling match-winning contributions in the WBA and Coventry wins. He’s a very important member of this [Sheffield Wednesday] side.”

Danny Rohl must show confidence in Anthony Musaba to get the best out of him
It is clear that Musaba has the raw talent that can easily punish Championship defences when he is at his best, and whilst he provides a real threat on the attack, his confidence when played in on goal is somewhat shot.
Whilst this is a major part of his game that requires work, he certainly has the capability to still be a real asset for Rohl’s side, and the German boss must stick with the attacker in order to get the very best out of him.
He is a player that thrives on confidence and it is clear as day that he has plenty of it when it comes to taking an opposition defender on, and if he can translate that into goal scoring ability then he will be an incredible player for Rohl to have.
Rohl must persevere with playing the attacker to get the best out of him, and whilst it will take time for him to build his goal scoring abilities up, he will without a doubt improve on this in time.
