Championship football returns this weekend, and Sheffield Wednesday welcome QPR.
Last season, both teams were in very similar boats; both struggled up until making managerial changes, with both them achieving safety.
At times last season, it looked as though both QPR and Sheffield Wednesday would be relegated.
But going into this season, hopes were high for both, though only one has flourished so far.
QPR sit in 12th place of the Championship table after a bright start whereas Danny Rohl’s Owls sit in 20th, following a 3-0 defeat vs Millwall last time round.
Sheffield Wednesday have lost their last three now, missing out on summer transfer target Karamoko Dembele to QPR.
Dembele has shone for QPR so far and he could be a game-changer at Hillsborough this weekend.
QPR look set to be without Morgan Fox as the former Sheffield Wednesday man nurses an injury.

Sheffield Wednesday vs QPR score prediction
Last season, the Owls did the double over QPR.
Sheffield Wednesday beat QPR 2-1 at Hillsborough and then won 2-0 in West London; the latter being a crucial victory on their way to achieving Championship safety.
But Marti Cifuentes’ side are now unbeaten since the opening day of the season, beating Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road in their last outing.
Giving his score prediction for this weekend’s game, EFL pundit Sam Parkin has predicted a high-scoring game.
He said on the Championship Check-In podcast: “Sheffield Wednesday, even though I would see them as a different proposition at Hillsborough, obviously have not been good at all, and that’s an understatement in the last three games.
“That said, I fancy them to get something here, at Hillsborough against a team that they’re going to be more competitive against.”
Parkin has predicted a 2-2 draw.

Danny Rohl and Sheffield Wednesday will be desperate for one thing vs QPR
After such a poor start to the season, and having had so much optimism going into the new campaign, Rohl may simply want to avoid defeat this weekend.
And against a strong QPR side with a lot of talent, especially in the forward areas, avoiding defeat may be a good result for Sheffield Wednesday.
But the Owls know they can beat QPR, having done so twice last season, and this R’s side isn’t so drastically different from last time round.
If Rohl can get his side back to winning ways this weekend, then it would really put the wind back in their sails.
