One Sheffield Wednesday figure has been praised ahead of the away clash vs Coventry City.
The Owls are gearing up for an away clash against Coventry City as they will look to make it three games unbeaten in the Championship.
Danny Rohl’s side have endured a difficult start to the 2024/25 Championship season that saw them go five league games without a win, however an inspired victory at home against West Brom has hopefully turned around the campaign at this early stage.
Sheffield Wednesday put in a solid defensive performance at Ashton Gate, with Di’Shon Bernard especially making a significant difference at the heart of the defence for the Owls, whilst James Beadle also made a massive contribution to keeping the scores level and earning his side a deserved clean sheet.
On the attacking front questions have undoubtedly been raised yet again, especially in regards to Ike Ugbo and his poor start to the campaign after he yet again had very little impact in leading the line for the Owls.
Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping for an improvement up top next time out against Coventry City, and have been backed to do just that.

Coventry City clash could help dictate Sheffield Wednesday’s season
If Sheffield Wednesday are able to notch a surprise win on the road against Coventry City, it will fully prove that they are able to somewhat replicate their performances at Hillsborough Stadium as on the road.
The Owls will by no means be expected to leave Coventry with all three points, however if they were able to then it will show that Sheffield Wednesday can start to be looking at the higher echelons of the table as there is every likelihood that a win against the Sky Blues would set them up perfectly for the following games against Burnley, Swansea City and Portsmouth.
