Ahead of Friday’s game, Leeds United have sold Georginio Rutter to Brighton in a club-record £40million deal.
Meanwhile, Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with Mark O’Mahony, who could leave Brighton on loan before the August 30th deadline.

Speaking on Sky Sports Championship Predictions ahead of the weekend, former Wednesday and Leeds midfielder David Prutton gave his score prediction for the Yorkshire clash at Hillsborough on Friday.
Prutton said: “It’ll be a bumper crowd. It’ll be a very decent crowd, they’ll travel in great numbers as well [Leeds fans]…
“A bit of consternation for Leeds to work through, and a reaction needed from Wednesday; this will be a nice test of what all the hype about Danny Rohl is about.”

For the Owls, this Leeds game feels like a very important one in setting the tone for their next few weeks.
Another heavy defeat could cause panic and it could set Sheffield Wednesday up for a slow start to the season.
Whereas a strong performance and a reaction from that Sunderland game could make it seem like a one-off, poor performance.
So for Rohl, it’s key that his side avoid another woeful defensive performance; a clean sheet here might be the most important thing for the Owls here.
Sheffield Wednesday have shown that they can be very dangerous going forward and now they need to prove that they can be resolute at the back.
A draw vs Leeds United would be strong result for the Owls.
