Lately, news about his future has ramped up, with reports that an unnamed British side has had a £1.3million bid accepted for Kaba.
Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly rivalling the likes of Sheffield United, West Brom, and Cardiff City in the race for Kaba’s signature.
Ike Ugbo to Sheffield Wednesday latest
As well as Kaba, Sheffield Wednesday are also keen on Ike Ugbo following his impressive spell on loan during the second half of last season.
So far, it’s been reported that Sheffield Wednesday have seen a bid for Ugbo rejected, but that the Owls won’t go beyond the £2.5million mark for the Canadian.

Yet another striker who Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with this summer is Duncan McGuire.
Sheffield Wednesday tried to sign McGuire from Orlando City in January, but ultimately failed.
The Owls’ interest has since been reignited but it looks as though MLS outfit Orlando are about to put any potential exit to bed; reports claim that Orlando City are set to trigger a two-year contract extension to McGuire’s deal this summer.
Premier League loan signings at Sheffield Wednesday
It’s inevitable that Sheffield Wednesday will look towards the Premier League for some exciting loan signings in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
And speaking on this subject, Rohl recently said: “We have some players in our mind from Premier League clubs that we think would be very interesting to take them.
“Then there will be players who pop up and then we must make a quick decision, this is normal.
“I think in the next weeks it will be interesting what happens in this squad at Sheffield Wednesday.”
Sheffield Wednesday loan exits probable
As well as potential loan arrivals, there could also be some loan exits in the coming weeks too.
Gabriel Otegbayo has been tipped to leave Sheffield Wednesday on loan in August, and young goalkeeper Pierce Charles also looks like he could be loaned out before the August 30th transfer deadline.
Elsewhere in the first-team, Bailey Cadamarteri could be a significant loan exit for the Owls, depending on whether or not they can bring in a new striker.

Even though there’s been nine new signings so far this summer, a few more seems probable, and it looks like Rohl will hone in on the positions that could do with an added bit of quality.
