Sheffield Wednesday’s recent defeats have put them under some pressure to get further transfer business underway.
The Owls only have a matter of days before the transfer window slams shut, but they remain eager to bring in further additions to their ten new signings.
Danny Rohl has previously admitted that he wants reinforcements at centre-back and central midfield, while they have been pushing to add a new striker after missing out on Portsmouth-bound Mark O’Mahony.
As times ticks on, it looks like Sheffield Wednesday could be very busy in the final days and potentially hours of the window.
If everything goes to plan, the team will be looking a lot stronger and be in a much better position for when they travel to Millwall next weekend.

Shea Charles
Wednesday have been desperate to bring in a new defensive midfielder following an injury to Nathaniel Chalobah, leaving Barry Bannan as the deepest of the midfield three.
It so far hasn’t worked over the last two fixtures and the Owls are now pushing to sign Southampton’s Charles.
The 20-year-old already looks set to move to Hillsborough and could be a really important addition before deadline day.
Michal Helik
Dominic Iorfa has struggled in recent games and it seems glaringly obvious that they could do with some more talent in their backline.
There is going to be a lot of competition to bring in any Premier League loanees, but they could instead look to League One for Michal Helik.
The 28-year-old was one of Huddersfield Town’s best performers as they were relegated, finishing as their top scorer with nine goals.
Helik made the fourth-most interceptions in the Championship (75), the second-most clearances (224), blocked the seventh-most shots (42) and won the seventh-most aerials (160).
Aaron Connolly
Wednesday are pushing to bring in another striker option, with Michael Smith and Bailey Cadamarteri linked with a move away in recent weeks.
So many clubs are looking for new strikers though and the tough competition likely makes it very difficult for the Owls to bring in their desired targets.
There is one player still available on a free transfer though and that is former Hull City man Connolly.
The 24-year-old netted eight goals in the Championship last term before he was let go at the end of the season.
Connolly seems a very good back-up option for Ike Ugbo and clearly wouldn’t cost a penny.
