Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl will look to change up his side ahead of the Swansea City clash.
Danny Rohl’s side will be hoping to bounce back following a 2-0 defeat against Burnley at Hillsborough Stadium.
There were certainly positives to take from the clash, especially with the chances created for Sheffield Wednesday against a top Championship side, as well as yet another positive showing from the likes of Barry Bannan and Shea Charles in the centre-of-the-park.
However, some weren’t quite at the races at Hillsborough, including Yan Valery who was at the centre of a costly mistake to give the visitors the lead, whilst Ike Ugbo also put in a poor performance and was still unable to open his account for the campaign, something which is alarming considering his ‘fantastic’ 2023/25 Championship season.
With varying performances across the park, as well as the congested fixtures, there will be no surprises to see Rohl sought to make changes to his side.

Sheffield Wednesday injury news ahead of Swansea clash
The big news for Rohl is the returning Josh Windass, who is back in contention for a start after missing the previous two Championship games.
Rohl revealed prior to the Burnley clash that Michael Ihiekwe had an Achilles issue and as a result was not found in the squad, with it being uncertain that he will return against Swansea.
Liam Palmer is fully fit to return to the side after just notching minutes from off-the-bench against Burnley.
Summer signing Nathaniel Chalobah continues his absence for at least another three to four weeks, ruling him out of contention for the upcoming clash.

How Sheffield Wednesday will line up against Swansea City
There is no doubt that James Beadle will retain his spot in-between the sticks for Rohl’s side after yet another brilliant showing last time out.
As for the defence sitting in front, Di’Shon Bernard’s clear fitness hands him another start alongside Akin Famewo, who both featured in the Burnley loss. Rohl will have a decision to make over Valery after his costly error and it would be no surprise to see Palmer reintroduced to the starting side in place of the Tunisian.
As for the wing-back spots, they remain unchanged with Marvin Johnson and Pol Valentin continuing to provide the width, whilst Charles and Bannan remain undroppable in the centre-of-the-park.
The frontline has been far from in-form since the start of the 2024/25 Championship season, and it would be understandable to see Rohl chop-and-change his side, with Olaf Kobacki and Ike Ugbo making way for Josh Windass and Michael Smith, who join Djeidi Gassama.
