Oxford United (A)
Like Derby, Oxford United have also held their own in the Championship following promotion from League One last time round.
The U’s currently sit in 16th place of the table, but Will Vaulks and co have won just one of their last 10 in the league, losing three of their last four.

Stoke City have crept up into 13th under new boss Narcis Pelach. The Potters have won two of their last three and lost just one of their last eight.

Another tough game after the visit from Stoke City sees the Owls head to Middlesbrough.
The Riverside is always a tricky place to go to and with Boro picking up some momentum, currently sitting in 7th place of the table, it could be a long afternoon for the Owls.

Preston (A)
Sheffield Wednesday finish their 2024 in the same way they finished their 2023; with a trip to Preston North End.
The Owls won that game 1-0 and set the tone for the New Year. There’s nothing to suggest that Wednesday can’t have a repeat of that result, other than Preston’s ability to frustrate teams at home.
