Sheffield Wednesday are back in action on October 19th, with a visit from Burnley.
Sheffield Wednesday resume league duties with a game against playoff hopefuls Burnley at Hillsborough.
As things stand, the Owls sit in 15th place of the Championship table, compared to the Clarets who sit in 3rd.
Scott Parker took charge in the summer following Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League, and he’s made a steady start.
His side have 19 points on the board as opposed to Wednesday’s 11, with Burnley being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Preston before the break.
On the road this season, Burnley have taken seven points, putting them 4th in the Championship away table, with Sheffield Wednesday in 15th place of the home table.

Early Sheffield Wednesday team and injury news vs Burnley
During this month’s international break, the Owls have been dealt a bitter injury blow, with the club confirming that Di’Shon Bernard has picked up a muscle injury.
He’s withdrawn from international duty with Jamaica, but the severity of his injury is not yet known.
Elsewhere, the likes of Ben Hamer has been making his recovery in recent weeks and could challenge Pierce Charles for the no.2 spot.
Nathaniel Chalobah meanwhile should be expected to return in the coming weeks as well.
Dominic Iorfa retuned to the bench against Coventry City before the break, whilst Olaf Kobacki scored against Aston Villa in a recent friendly, suggesting that he’s back from a brief injury.
Liam Palmer’s injury status remains unclear at this moment.

Early Sheffield Wednesday predicted XI to face Burnley
Danny Rohl knows Burnley will be a big test of his side’s mettle. But he’ll also know that Burnley are beatable.
The Clarets haven’t looked all that dominant this season and they’ll be wary of a trip to Hillsborough, especially given Wednesday’s recent form.
Expect Rohl to maintain the 5-2-2-1 shape that’s served him well in recent weeks, with Iorfa likely coming back into the XI in place of Bernard in what could be Rohl’s biggest dilemma ahead of this one.
It’ll also be interesting to see what midfield shape Rohl goes for having changed it slightly against Coventry, as to include Sant Ingelsson from the off.
Whether it’s something Rohl persists it remains to be seen. But back at home and against strong opposition, we should expect a formation somewhere in between attacking and defensive.
