Sheffield Wednesday have been dealt a fresh injury blow during this month’s international break.
Sheffield Wednesday haven’t had too many issues with injury since Danny Rohl was appointed last October.
The Owls have had the odd injured player but never anything too serious, although Nathaniel Chalobah is this season’s main injury.
After joining on a free transfer in the summer following his West Brom release, one-time England man Chalobah has managed just one appearance in the Carabao Cup.
He’s on the mend. So too is Olaf Kobacki who suffered a muscle injury in the game vs Bristol City and missed the last outing at Coventry City.
But Kobacki scored against Aston Villa in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday, suggesting that he’s back at it.
Elsewhere, Liam Palmer remains sidelined with a muscle injury, and now Di’Shon Bernard has joined him on the sidelines.

Sheffield Wednesday confirm Di’Shon Bernard injury blow
Former Manchester United youngster Bernard signed a new Sheffield Wednesday contract during the summer.
He’s committed his future to Hillsborough for three years, and after a slow start to this new season, he’s recently been back to his best.
Bernard shone against Bristol City. He was once again called up to the Jamaican national team for this month’s CONCACAF Nations League games, but he’s now returning to S6.
Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed that ‘Bernard has withdrawn from the Jamaica squad’ with a ‘minor muscle injury’.
The 23-year-old will now returning to Sheffield Wednesday’s Middlewood training ground for an assessment on his injury.

Centre-back crisis set to reignite for Danny Rohl
Centre-back is a position in which Rohl is very light this season. And there were games earlier this season where Rohl’s options were completely utilised in the XI, playing a back-five.
Now with Palmer and Bernard injured, it leaves just Akin Famewo and Michael Ihiekwe, though Pol Valentin has showed that he can play in the middle.
Yan Valery can as well. There’s also Nathaniel Otegbayo who can come onto the bench and provide coverage if necessary, so there’s ways around it for Rohl.
But not having Bernard is certainly a blow and Rohl will hope that his injury isn’t a serious one.
Bernard is proving to be somewhat injury prone, often stemming from travelling to and from international duty with Jamaica.
Rohl and Wednesday just have to deal with it and manage Bernard’s fitness as best they can.
