Sheffield Wednesday players have reacted after Bailey Cadamarteri scored his first goal for Lincoln City.
The Owls managed a perfect weekend as they got back to winning ways against a top West Brom side in a 3-2 win.
There were plenty of positives for Danny Rohl to take away from his side’s victory, from the goal courtesy of an out of form Josh Windass, who was able to bounce back in incredible fashion, to Marvin Johnson’s brilliant showing on the left flank.
Aside from Sheffield Wednesday’s result, it was a particularly brilliant weekend for one Owls loanee, who managed to get off the mark in his current League One spell.
Bailey Cadamarteri was shipped off on loan to Lincoln City this summer and has finally bagged his first goal for the Imps.
It has been a long time coming for the youngster, and he has gained support from his Sheffield Wednesday teammates after a brilliant showing.

Sheffield Wednesday teammates send message to Bailey Cadamarteri after Lincoln City goal
Cadamarteri bagged his first goal for the Imps in the 2024/25 League One campaign in a 2-0 win away at Cambridge United.
His Owls teammates have shown their support to Cadamarteri, who managed to score in his fourth game of the season for the League One outfit, with many including the likes of Liam Palmer and Windass taking to Instagram.
Palmer showed his support for the young goalscorer as he said ‘Well in baaaaiiiiley 🔥👏’, whilst Windass wrote ‘Love it young un’.
He was also shown support from other fellow Owls, including Sean Fusire, who wrote ‘Was only a matter of time👏🏾’, whilst Rio Shipston wrote ‘Back to normal 👏’.
Successful loan spell could propel Bailey Cadamarteri back into Danny Rohl’s side
Whilst it has unexpectedly been a slightly slower start to Cadamarteri’s loan spell in League One, with him taking four games to get going for Lincoln City, there will be nothing stopping him from kicking on past this moment.
There is no doubt that the Sheffield Wednesday youngsters thrives when he has his confidence up, as shown from his brief yet impactful run of first team games in the 2023/24 Championship campaign.
With the Owls currently struggling in front of goal this season, particularly at striker, with Ike Ugbo yet to net his first goal for Sheffield Wednesday since his permanent move, there is no doubt that Rohl will be quietly keeping tabs over Cadamarteri’s development in League One and whether he could improve his options.
There is certainly every chance that Cadamarteri has a future leading the line for Sheffield Wednesday, and with the current frontline for the Owls not performing, the youngster could easily be propelled back into the side.
