Sheffield Wednesday are live on Sky Sports once again this Sunday, taking on Derby County at Pride Park in a 3pm kick off.
Sheffield Wednesday often have mixed fortunes when playing on Sky Sports. But last time out against Hull City, in a game that was also live on Sky, the Owls were good value for money.
Danny Rohl watched on as Sheffield Wednesday beat Hull City 2-0 at the MKM Stadium, and as the likes of Barry Bannan and James Beadle shone for Owls.
But it was Shea Charles who was named in the Championship Team of the Week following another strong outing for the Northern Ireland skipper.
The win left Wednesday in 13th place of the Championship table. The Owls sit two points and two places ahead of the Rams in 15th, who lost 2-1 at home to Swansea City in midweek.
Though it remains a positive start to the season for Paul Warne’s side after they were widely tipped to struggle in the Championship this season, following promotion from League One last time round.

Sam Parkin shares Derby County vs Sheffield Wednesday score prediction
Speaking on the Championship Check-In podcast, EFL pundit Sam Parkin shared his prediction for the game at Pride Park this weekend.
Parkin said: “Derby County were pretty good last night [vs Swansea City], if you take away their limitations, they do what they do brilliantly… in terms of putting a team under pressure from set-pieces, balls in, intensity improved as the night wore on.
“For 20 minutes, they couldn’t get anywhere near the ball. It was incredible the contrast after that, it looked like Swansea had two extra players on the pitch.”
Parkin adds that Derby ‘probably deserved a point on the night’ against Swansea, before predicting a 1-0 Derby County win against Sheffield Wednesday.
Derby County weakness could be exploited by particular Sheffield Wednesday ace
Speaking after the Swansea City defeat in midweek, Rams expert and BBC pundit Ed Dawes explained how the Rams were overthrown in the midfield, and how they lacked control.
And that could mean the Derby County game is tailor-made for Barry Bannan to step up, dictate play and help Sheffield Wednesday get the win, as he did in the game against Hull City on Tuesday.
Parkin makes an interesting point about set-pieces, which is Sheffield Wednesday’s Achilles heel. But if Rohl can focus the game in the middle of the pitch where Wednesday are strongest, then it could be another tough outing for the Rams.
A 1-0 defeat, like Parkin predicts, would be very disappointing for Sheffield Wednesday.
