Callum Paterson got himself a rare couple of goals for Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
Sheffield Wednesday ended a two-game losing streak with a 5-1 win against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
The Owls were behind at half time, but some tactical magic from Danny Rohl inspired the comeback.
Ike Ugbo scored his first goal since re-signing for Sheffield Wednesday, with Jamal Lowe then bagging his second for the club.
Callum Paterson scored twice before Pol Valentin scored his first goal for the Owls, and his first in more than four years.
The Owls are back in league action this weekend with a trip down to London to face Millwall in the Championship.
But before then, Rohl and head of recruitment head of Kevin Beadell have deadline day to contend with.
And it could be a very busy day for the Owls despite the recent signing of Shea Charles on loan from Southampton.
There could be players arriving at, and possibly leaving Hillsborough in the coming days, with Paterson being one who could move on.
It’s recently been reported that Sheffield Wednesday are open to letting Paterson leave this summer.

Paterson failed to score last time round, grabbing just one assist in his 25 Championship outings.
The season before, when Sheffield Wednesday earned promotion from League One, 29-year-old Paterson scored six and assisted two more in 28 league appearances.
For the Owls, former Scottish international Paterson has 25 goals and 13 assists in 157 total appearances.

Paterson had a game of two halves vs Grimsby; he was poor in the first but prolific in the second.
Around lesser-seen first-team players, Paterson struggled to get in the game and failed to have his own impact against lower league opposition.
But the half-time introduction of several regular starters at Sheffield Wednesday got Paterson firing.
He showed his attacking nous against Grimsby with a couple of goals and with the likes of Michael Smith potentially set to leave this week, and Bailey Cadamarteri set to join Lincoln City on loan, Rohl may fancy keeping Paterson as an attacking option
That said, Paterson is one of a handful of players out of contract next summer, Smith being another, and so owner Dejphon Chansiri may be keen to make back some money in the transfer market.
From a financial viewpoint, a Paterson sale may be best. But fans and indeed Rohl may be keen for Paterson to stay for the rest of the season, if not until January, to provide a helping hand.
