Sheffield Wednesday have endured a quite subdued deadline day so far.
But, like the January deadline day and the summer deadline day before, it may burst into life late on for Sheffield Wednesday.
Danny Rohl and his first-team squad travelled down to London on Friday ahead of their Championship clash vs Millwall on Saturday.
Rohl has been in talks with Kevin Beadell, head of recruitment, over possible deadline deals, with Everton’s Mason Holgate a target.
It’s been reported that Sheffield Wednesday are in talks with Everton over a possible loan deal for Holgate, who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.

West Brom now in talks to sign Sheffield Wednesday target Mason Holgate
As the 11pm transfer deadline draws closer, teams are starting to become very active on the transfer front.
And Sheffield Wednesday’s Championship rivals West Brom have now taken a late interest in Holgate.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke claimed that the Baggies are now ‘in talks’ with Holgate, making no mention of Sheffield Wednesday.
Holgate, 27, can play at right-back and at centre-back, but appears to be out of favour under Toffees boss Sean Dyche.
Would Mason Holgate choose Sheffield Wednesday over West Brom
Whilst the decision may partly be Everton’s, and dependent on who offers the best loan fee and so on, Holgate may also have some day.
Carlos Corberan at West Brom plays a very similar style of football to Rohl, but Corberan’s Baggies side are much more likely to be play-off candidates this season.
What’s more is that Holgate has previously spent time on loan with West Brom and so that could play a factor, along with the fact that Holgate played for Sheffield United last season, although that may not be such a decisive factor.
Sheffield Wednesday play Millwall at 3pm on Saturday.
