Sheffield Wednesday look to be in store for quite a quiet deadline day.
Sheffield Wednesday have already made 11 new signings this summer, with nine of those 11 arriving before the start of the 2024/25 season.
Danny Rohl and head of recruitment Kevin Beadell got the bulk of their transfer work done early doors.
But going into deadline day, it was claimed that Rohl still had his eye on a couple of new signings, with a defender and a striker on his wishlist.
Right now though, it looks like the Owls could be in store for a fairly subdued deadline day, at least compared to their last couple of deadline days.

Danny Rohl’s deadline day plans at Sheffield Wednesday
An emerging report from The Star has revealed that, despite the Owls having done the bulk of their business early on, Rohl will remain in talks with Beadell on deadline day.
The Owls are currently travelling down to London ahead of their Championship clash vs Millwall on Saturday.
But Rohl and Beadell will be in talks, with the pair keeping an ear out for ‘any raising possibilities’, per The Star.

What business Sheffield Wednesday might do on deadline day
The above update certainly suggests that Sheffield Wednesday aren’t desperate for any deadline day signings.
And it makes sense given the amount of business they’ve already done this summer.
But Rohl and Beadell seem as though they’re open to another couple of deals, providing which players become available either for loans or last minute deals.
Loans appear more likely given the amount that Sheffield Wednesday have already spent this summer.
With lots of Championship clubs looking for late Premier League loans though, it’s going to be difficult for the Owls to get any deals done, especially with Rohl not in-office.
