Sheffield Wednesday are already fielding interest in their players.
The transfer window finished at the end of August, and for Sheffield Wednesday, it was a quiet end to the summer.
Sheffield Wednesday signed nine new players in the summer but didn’t make any signings on deadline day.
Danny Rohl has transformed his first-team squad, and although results haven’t improved as of yet in this 2024/25 season, there’s still a sense that the team boasts more quality than it did last year.
The Owls had interest in a few of their players during the summer transfer window.
Bailey Cadamarteri sealed a loan move to Lincoln City in League One, with the striker having had interest throughout the summer.
Meanwhile, Bambo Diaby was among those who left on a permanent deal, leaving for Elche in Spain.
Since the end of the transfer window, Pol Valentin has been linked with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Valentin, 27, joined Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee from Sporting Gijon last year.

Pol Valentin latest at Sheffield Wednesday amid Maccabi Tel Aviv interest
Valentin featured 36 times in the Championship last season.
The Spaniard eventually became a key player under Rohl, showing great strides in his improvement.
This season, Valentin has played second-fiddle to Yan Valery, but remains an important player for the team.
Valentin has scored his first goal for the Owls too, netting in the 5-1 win vs Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.
Amid recent links to Tel Aviv, journalist Joe Crann has now revealed on X that Wednesday did indeed receive an approach from the Israeli club, but that it was ‘immediately rebuffed’.
Crann posted on X:
Sheffield Wednesday need to keep hold of Pol Valentin
Not only does Valentin provide coverage in what is a crucial position in Rohl’s set up, but he’s also become a good Championship player.
When Valentin started at Hillsborough, he looked raw, and unprepared for Championship football.
By the end of the season, he was a huge fan favourite, and if he keeps on that kind of trajectory then by the end of this season, he could be a very valuable player.
Valentin is out of contract next summer though. It’ll force Wednesday into a decision, potentially in January as they’ll have to decide whether they want to keep Valentin beyond next season, or cash in before losing him as a free agent.
