Sheffield Wednesday loan man Shea Charles has recently been linked with Arsenal, following his strong start to the 2024/25 season.
Recent reports claim that Premier League giants Arsenal are keeping tabs on Shea Charles, who’s impressed for both club and country this season.
Shortly after the start of the campaign, Sheffield Wednesday signed Charles on loan from Southampton, and he’s since featured 12 times in the Championship for the Owls.
The 21-year-old has also shone on the international stage as well with Charles being named Northern Ireland captain for their fixtures during the November international break.
Despite his fine form, Southampton have no intentions of recalling Charles from Sheffield Wednesday in January. But the Saints may have to entertain interest from Arsenal.

Danny Rohl discusses reported Arsenal interest in Shea Charles
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Rohl spoke about Charles and the recent reports of Arsenal’s interest.
Rohl is a huge fan of Charles’ having spoken very positively about him since he made the loan switch to Hillsborough in the summer.
Discussing Arsenal’s reported interest in Charles, Rohl said: “If he is linked with top teams that’s because he is a top player.
“I don’t know. I don’t know how many players at Sheffield Wednesday get linked with top clubs, but it’s just a pity he is not our player.
“I saw something in him this summer, and he’s shown up and done well and got a lot of minutes for us.”

Sheffield Wednesday duo attracting transfer interest ahead of January
Reported interest in Charles may not be so surprising to Sheffield Wednesday fans, who’ve witnessed first hand this season just how good he is.
But he’s not the only Sheffield Wednesday player attracting interest ahead of January with academy man Sam Reed wanted on loan.
There are several National League clubs eyeing a loan deal for Reed with the Owls having already received several enquiries in the run up to January.
It’s another credit to the club that they have a player who’s so admired by others, and thankfully for Rohl, Reed is their player.
There could also be others like out of favour attacker Callum Paterson who attracts transfer interest in weeks leading up to the January transfer window.
Indeed, there could be several comings and goings at Sheffield Wednesday in the January window.
The Owls return to action against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.
