Chansiri first oversaw a new contract for Rohl, then playing a part in getting nine new signings over the line with Nathaniel Chalobah the latest to arrive at Hillsborough.
Sheffield Wednesday fans have praised Chansiri for overseeing a lot of positive changes to the first-team squad this summer.
Owls fans are quietly optimistic about their side’s chances of success in the next Championship campaign under Rohl and with this new-look team.
And it’s clear that Chansiri has changed one key element of the club’s focus in the transfer market this summer.

In recent seasons, Sheffield Wednesday have seemingly placed more focus on signing a quantity of players, instead of signing quality.
Especially during the Owls’ two-year stay in League One, then manager Darren Moore was simply handed a tonne of free agents and loan players and told to do what he can with them.
Even last summer, Xisco Munoz was given a very poor side to go into the 2023/24 campaign with, and he inevitably failed to succeed.
This summer, however, signings of names like Olaf Kobacki and Yan Valery, who’ve both joined for transfer fees, suggest that the Owls have turned a corner in their transfer acumen.
Jamal Lowe and Chalobah also bring a wealth of Championship and international experience to the ranks too.
What Dejphon Chansiri must do after this summer’s transfer window
Chansiri is certainly worthy of praise this summer, along with head of recruitment Kevin Beadell who’s no doubt played a huge role in this summer’s business.
And when the summer transfer window is done, and Rohl and his new-look side head into the Championship campaign to seek their fortune, Chansiri must then take a step back.
Chansiri must leave Rohl and those in the dugout to do their work and be the silent chairman that he should’ve been last season.
It certainly seems like he’s learned lessons from what was a testing 2023/24 season for him and the club, and indeed the fans, and if he can leave footballing matters to those in the know, then Sheffield Wednesday may finally flourish.
