A Sheffield Wednesday player has been given quite the promotion as he trains with Lee Carsley’s England.
Sheffield Wednesday managed quite the coup this summer as they managed to successfully bring Brighton goalkeeper James Beadle back for a second spell on loan at the club in the Championship.
The Owls loanee made a significant impact in S6 when he initially joined following the conclusion of his spell at Oxford United in League One.
There was no surprise to see Danny Rohl adamant to bring the goalkeeper back to Hillsborough this season, and it is clear that his parent club Brighton viewed it as a brilliant option to send him back to the Championship side for another season.
As a result of his brilliant development, Beadle was handed an England U21 call-up, however his prestige has now just increased even further following an unexpected further call-up.

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper James Beadle trains with England first-team
The Owls youngster has been spotted training with new England boss Lee Carsley and the first-team at St Georges Park, per Declan McCarthy on X.
The Sheffield Wednesday shot-stopper had previously been called up to the England U21 side under boss Carsley, and the new first-team coach appears to have taken Beadle with him to train with the side that reached the Euro 2024 final.
It is expected that Beadle will train with the likes of Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, and former Blade Dean Henderson.
Sheffield Wednesday have a potential future England international in their side
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Beadle will most certainly massively benefit from this unexpected call-up to train with the England first-team, and that solely proves the incredible abilities that he has at just the age-of-20.
The shot-stopper for the Owls has been incredible during his stint at the club, and it is fully deserved to see him around the England set-up.
It is nothing short of an absolutely incredible achievement from Beadle, and Rohl can also be certainly thanked for the development of the youngster in order to get him to this level at such a young age.
The best of Beadle certainly is yet to be seen, despite the brilliant performances we have seen up to this point, and by the end of the season there would be no surprises to see Premier League sides showing interest in the man in-between the sticks.
Sheffield Wednesday will not reap the rewards of Beadle’s likely success in his career, but they will certainly be a footnote in the career of what looks likely to be a future England international.
