Rob Staton has singled out one Sheffield Wednesday player for particular praise following the win vs West Brom.
Sheffield Wednesday have ended their winless run in the Championship, and against league leaders West Brom.
The Baggies have now conceded three goals in each of their last two outings at Hillsborough, losing both.
Sheffield Wednesday beat West Brom 3-0 towards the end of last season, and Danny Rohl’s side were almost three goals ahead by half-time.
Marvin Johnson scored the opener, before Josh Windass scored an impressive header to make the score 2-0.
West Brom eventually got back on level terms. But Anthony Musaba scored yet another late winner for the Owls.
There were impressive player performances across the pitch for the Owls; Barry Bannan was the standout player as his fine run of form continues, and his midfield partner Shea Charles was also impressive.

Charles joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan towards the end of the summer, becoming the last of Wednesday’s nine summer signings.
He’s since started every game for the Owls and has quickly become a very key player in the middle of the pitch for Rohl.
Speaking before the West Brom game, Bannan explained how Charles’ presence in midfield has allowed him to get forward more, with Bannan having scored in both games before the West Brom one.
Against the Baggies, Charles was everywhere; he had the joint-most duels won of any Wednesday player (seven), with the second-most defensive actions (seven), and the third-most accurate passes of any Wednesday man (18).

Up until Charles’ arrival, Sheffield Wednesday looked particularly weak in the middle of the park.
It was becoming clear that Sheffield Wednesday were missing Will Vaulks and the presence he gave in front of the defence.
But having had some weeks to settle into the first-team, and get to grips with the style of play, Charles is now showing his class.
He’s providing a huge amount of steel in front of the defence, albeit with Wednesday conceding two frustrating goals against West Brom.
He’s also showing great maturity for his age, with his position and passing being that of a player with much more experience than he.
