The Owls head to Luton looking for their first league win since the opening day of the season, but on the back of a 1-0 win vs Blackpool in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Danny Rohl made some wholesale changes to his starting XI for the game at Bloomfield Road and so he’ll have his key players fit and firing for Luton.
Rohl hailed Gabriel Otegbayo’s performance vs Blackpool and so the youngster could well feature vs Luton Town.
Meanwhile, Svante Ingelsson impressed vs Blackpool also, and so the Swede could reclaim his starting spot in the Championship going into this weekend.
As things stand, Sheffield Wednesday sit in 20th place of the Championship table whilst Luton Town sit in 19th, with both teams in four points.

Sheffield Wednesday haven’t played away at Luton since the 2020/21 Championship season.
That day, Wednesday lost 3-2 despite taking a two-goal lead in the first half, with Josh Windass scoring both goals.
Giving his score prediction for this weekend, EFL pundit Sam Parkin said on the Championship Check-In podcast: “I don’t think it’ll immediately turn around now, for Luton.
“I saw a team that’s still lacking a bit of confidence in the second half at Millwall. Maybe it’s not confidence. Maybe it’s the reality of being back in the Championship and having another 40 of these games to go.
“They’re not going to be playing on carpets in the winter. They’re going to have balls shelled in their penalty box. And maybe those Premier League moves aren’t going to materialise for some of the ones that attracted attention.
“I think it could be a grind, but I think they’ll win here. I will take Luton to beat Sheffield Wednesday by two goals to nil.”

For Sheffield Wednesday, there’s a lot of pressure riding on them to get back to the team they were on the opening day of this season.
Playing away from Hillsborough might take that edge off them a bit, and give the players some freedom to go out and get a win.
The main advantage that Wednesday may have over Luton Town is simply their recent experience of Championship football.
Like Parkin says, Luton still seem to be getting to grips with being back in the Championship, and they’ll not know what to expect from a Rohl side, having yet to play Wednesday under Rohl.
So in that sense, Sheffield Wednesday can provide the unexpected this weekend, and they could pull off what would be a shock result.
