Olaf Kobacki made his first league start for Sheffield Wednesday vs QPR last time out.
Sheffield Wednesday welcomed QPR to Hillsborough last Saturday.
It marked the return of football after a two-week break for international fixtures, and Danny Rohl’s side went into the game needing to end a run of three-straight defeats.
Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with QPR owing to a last minute equaliser for the travellings R’s.
Barry Bannan looked as though he’d given Wednesday the win in the dying minutes, though QPR held on and disappointed Owls fans.
There were definitely some positives to take from the game, however.
Marvin Johnson had a good game in what was his first league start of the season, and Olaf Kobacki also looked sharp as he made his full league debut for the club.
Sheffield Wednesday signed Kobacki from Polish outfit Arka during the summer.
So far, the 23-year-old had only started games in the Carabao Cup for Wednesday, having now featured three times in the league.
Anthony Musaba has divided fans of late and so Kobacki replaced the Dutchman vs QPR.

Olaf Kobacki Instagram message after Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 QPR
Following the draw vs QPR, and following his first league start for the Owls, Kobacki took to Instagram.
He posted a message simply captioned ‘Passion’, to which several of the Sheffield Wednesday first-team replied.
Bannan replied “Mclovin on fire”, with Josh Windass posting “On fire.”
Elsewhere, Jamal Lowe commented “Kobbie”, suggesting a comparison between Kobacki and Manchester United man Kobbie Mainoo.
Svante Ingelsson and Charlie McNeill also responded with some emojis, showing their support for Kobacki.
Danny Rohl needs to be more experimental with Sheffield Wednesday selection
Rohl keeps on chopping and changing his formation at Sheffield Wednesday. But he often sticks with the same set of players.
Kobacki’s positive performance vs QPR though may suggest that Rohl needs to start being more experimental with his player selection.
Rohl often shows a lot of faith in certain names; Bannan has come under criticism this season but keeps his place, and the same goes for Windass.
Ike Ugbo was also wasteful in front of goal vs QPR but will no doubt keep his starting spot for the next league fixture vs Luton Town next weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday now have decent depth in their squad after an impressive summer haul and Rohl must put that to use, and find a way to get his side firing once again.
