Sheffield Wednesday fans are experiencing a familiar feeling of frustration right now.
What could’ve been a much-needed win vs QPR turned into a draw.
Sheffield Wednesday welcomed the R’s to Hillsborough and looked set to have all the points in the bag, thanks to a late goal from Barry Bannan.
But QPR struck late, capitalising on some poor Wednesday defending from a set-piece and claiming a point for themselves.
The draw ends a run of three-straight defeats for Wednesday, which Danny Rohl will surely be delighted about.
But some poor Sheffield Wednesday finishing vs QPR arguably cost them all three points on the day, and that’ll leave a sour taste among fans.
Nevertheless, there were some positives.
Marvin Johnson impressed vs QPR as he made the starting XI for the first time in the Championship this season.
There was also a long overdue goal for captain Bannan; Bannan has been criticised by fans this season, but he gave a good account of himself vs QPR.

Bannan has certainly divided opinion this season. But Rohl has shown great faith in the Owls veteran.
Bannan started in the midfield alongside Shea Charles and recorded the second-most touches of any Owls player (82), also completing more passes than any of his teammates (44).
The 34-year-old also recorded three key passes (joint-most of anyone along with Jonson).

Whilst Bannan has received mixed reviews this season, he certainly looked as though he upped his game vs QPR.
He was a live-wire in the midfield and proved critical in starting attacks from deep, which is a key facet of Rohl’s style of play.
And he got himself a goal too, which in the last season or two he’s really not done enough of.
During this tough patch for Rohl and Wednesday, Bannan’s experience and leadership will prove key; he was the player putting in the yards vs QPR, and he eventually got what seemed like the all-important goal too.
If Bannan can add some more goals and assists to his game then he could be the cure for this downturn in form right now.
Liam Palmer also came back into the side today and showed his class, and like Bannan, he too could prove influential in a possible return to winning ways for Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls return to action vs Blackpool in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night; Blackpool recently appointed former Owls boss Steve Bruce.
