A former Sheffield Wednesday player has been tipped for ‘great’ things, if he can work on one aspect of his game.
Right now for Sheffield Wednesday, the going is tough, with just one win in their opening six Championship games of the season.
Danny Rohl already finds his side in the relegation zone, sitting in 21st place of the Championship table after an unfortunate 2-1 defeat vs Luton Town last time out.

But the sky remains the limit, and the ambition, for Rohl and Sheffield Wednesday. And the same applies to former Sheffield Wednesday man Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Lazio signed Dele-Bashiru on a £5million deal from Turkish outfit Hatayspor over the summer, with the former Manchester City youngster already flourishing in Serie A.

Moving to Hillsborough in 2020, Dele-Bashiru would eventually go on to make 67 league appearances for the Owls, scoring five goals.
His best season was his last; the Nigerian international scored four in 34 League One outings, grabbing one assist, then being offered a new contract to stay in S6.
The midfielder decided to leave for Turkey and he’s not looked back since. On Wednesday night, Dele-Bashiru scored his first goal for Lazio, netting and grabbing an assist in their 3-0 Europa League win over Dynamo Kyiv.
Speaking to One Football, Lazio boss Marco Baroni said of Dele-Bashiru after the game: “When I say that he needs to be built, I mean that he must focus more on tactics and how to fill the game rather than only when the ball is at his feet.
“Once he gets that, Dele-Bashiru will become a great modern midfielder.”

When at Wednesday, Dele-Bashiru’s technical ability was there for all to see; he’s got great control and an all-round game in midfield, shown by his ability to score and create at a top level.
But out of possession, he needed work, and it looks like that’s still the case with him at Lazio after all these years.
At 23 years old, he’s still a very young player. And playing at a much higher level, that out-of-possession work will be quickly drummed into him, and like Baroni says, he could very quickly become a top player of European football.
