Sheffield Wednesday could potentially be without one of their star players for the Championship clash away at Derby County on Sunday.
The Owls are back on the road again on Sunday, this time heading to Pride Park to take on a Derby County side who’ve proved solid in the Championship so far this season.
On Tuesday night, Sheffield Wednesday beat Hull City 2-0 to secure what is a third win in four away games in the league.
The three points leaves the Owls in 12th place of the Championship table ahead of the next round of fixtures on Wednesday night.
Derby County host Swansea City on Wednesday night before their game against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, which is being shown live on Sky Sports.
But for Danny Rohl, there’s a fresh injury concern going into the game at Pride Park, which he revealed after the win at Hull City.

Danny Rohl shares potential Josh Windass injury concern at Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday have the record for most games without a penalty in UK football, set at 73 games and 558 days.
The Owls’ penalty-less run came to an end at Hull City: Josh Windass converted the spot kick in the first half to take his tally to five goals in 15 Championship outings this season.
But the 30-year-old was brought off at half-time against Hull, along with Ike Ugbo who’s goalless after 16 league games this season.
Fans were wondering why Rohl brought both Windass and Ugbo off. After the game, Rohl explained that Windass was nursing a tight hamstring, whilst playing down the severity of the injury.
Rohl told Owls Heaven: “Josh and Ike played three days ago. A lot of minutes. Josh had a little bit tight hamstring, nothing else.”

How close did Derby County come to signing Josh Windass in the summer?
In the summer, Windass was out of contract, and it took Wednesday a long time to figure things out.
In the end, Windass signed a new Sheffield Wednesday contract. But the striker had a lot of interest from elsewhere during the summer transfer window.
Derby County were interested in signing Windass but it doesn’t seem as though the Rams ever came close to signing him.
Instead, it looked like West Brom who were the favourites to sign Windass. At one point, it was reported that West Brom made contact with Windass over a possible free transfer to The Hawthorns.
All is history, though. Windass remains at Hillsborough where he’s enjoying a prolific season. But he could be one who’s rested for Derby County, given the injury concern, with the festive period as congested as ever.
