Concerns were growing amongst the Hillsborough faithful as Fusire’s contract was reportedly expiring in the summer.

Against Brentford, Fusire ‘impressed’ before they were knocked out on penalties to the Premier League side.

Danny Rohl needs to ensure Sean Fusire continues to develop

While it is great that Fusire is staying at Wednesday for the foreseeable future, Rohl needs to ensure that his development stays on the right path.
So far, the midfielder has only played six times for the club when he is clearly ready for first-team football at some level.
Rohl recently hinted that Fusire could head out on loan in January which could do wonders for his growth.
Hopefully, in a few years, we will see the 19-year-old regularly in a blue and white shirt.
