Chris Waddle spent four years playing for Sheffield Wednesday, representing the club between 1992 and 1996.
The now 63-year-old made 147 appearances for the Owls and scored 15 goals, helping the club reach both the FA Cup and League Cup final in 1993.
Today, Sheffield Wednesday are far from those heights, with Danny Rohl’s side currently sitting in 20th place of the Championship table.
Before the international break, Sheffield Wednesday lost 3-0 vs Millwall; a fixture they won 2-0 last time round.
The Owls are back at Hillsborough this weekend where they host QPR in what is another tough, but potentially winnable game for Wednesday.
Ahead of the weekend, Waddle has discussed some of the stadiums with the best atmosphere in English football.

Hillsborough is an iconic stadium of English football, and remains one with an electric atmosphere when it’s full.
Boasting a capacity of 39,732, Hillsborough is the second-biggest stadium by capacity in the Championship, behind only Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.
Hillsborough has a bigger capacity than grounds like Elland Road and Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium.
And speaking to BBC 5 Live, Waddle was asked his top five atmospheres in English football, and he ranked Hillsborough above all of Goodison Park, Elland Road, Sunderland’s old Roker Park Stadium, and St James’ Park.
Waddle said of Hillsborough: “I played there four years. Unbelievable support.
“When Hillsborough’s full, that is rocking. What am atmosphere it is.”

During tough times like this, Rohl and his first-team players need the fans right behind them.
Fans took a lot of optimism into this season, with that optimism justified following the opening day win vs Plymouth Argyle.
But a 4-0 defeat vs Sunderland in the following game has brought everyone back down to earth.
Now, Rohl needs to find a way of getting the players out of this rut, and that could prove harder than his achievements last season, with Rohl and indeed the players having higher expectations.
QPR promises to be another challenging game with the R’s in 12th and looking much more assured than they did last season.
But if the Hillsborough crowd can prove to be the 12th man on the day, then the R’s could be in store for a very long afternoon themselves.
