Sheffield Wednesday have made some late moves in the final stages of the summer transfer window.

Sheffield Wednesday didn’t look set to be overly busy on deadline day.

Danny Rohl got the bulk of his summer transfer business done early doors and so deadline day was set to be a relatively peaceful one for the Owls.

But that doesn’t mean that Rohl and head of recruitment Kevin Beadell haven’t had a look at potential deals.

Samuel Edozie in ‘advanced talks’ to join Rangers

Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with a possible loan move for Edozie, alongside the likes of Sheffield United, Swansea City, and Rangers.

But it’s Scottish giants Rangers who look set to complete a deal for the winger, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealing on X that Edozie is set to join the Ibrox club on loan.

So far on deadline day, Sheffield Wednesday are yet to announce any new signings.

A good summer transfer window for Sheffield Wednesday?

Time will tell if Sheffield Wednesday have enjoyed a fruitful summer transfer window.

The mixed start to the season may suggest that there’s still a bit of work to do on the training ground, but 11 new signing is certainly exciting.

The Owls have brought in some exiting younger players too, and in time they could really gel into a strong first-team squad.

Rohl will now turn his attentions to the Championship clash vs Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

It feels like an important game for the Owls following back-to-back defeats in the league.

A win would put the wind back in their sails though, and get Wednesday’s potential play-off hopes back on track this season.
