Sheffield Wednesday entered double figures for their summer arrivals this week.
The Owls had been chasing Ike Ugbo since the season ended, but have finally snapped him up from Troyes in a £3 million deal.
Sheffield Wednesday could still be in the market for more additions though, with Danny Rohl previously admitting that he wants to ‘do something’ in midfield and in central defence.
The German has already welcomed Svante Ingelsson and Nathaniel Chalobah to the club, but it appears he may not be completely content with his current options.
Most of Wednesday’s midfielders are fairly attacking, so Wednesday could now look to bring in more of an all-rounder to join Barry Bannan.

John Buckley now available for permanent ‘sale’
The Owls lost a number of midfielder last season, with John Buckley having brought his loan spell to a premature end in January.
The 24-year-old managed only five starts before picking up a shoulder injury at Christmas, before he was sent back to Blackburn Rovers to recover.
Buckley went onto make ten appearances for his parent club and was an unused substitute in their opening day win over Derby County this week.
It now looks like Buckley could be on his way out again, with journalist Alan Nixon telling his Patreon that the midfielder has now been made available.
He wrote: “Meanwhile home-grown Buckley could also go after being loaned to Sheffield Wednesday last season. They would prefer a sale.”
Could Rohl have transformed Buckley if he had stayed?
Buckley previously looked to have a lot of potential at Blackburn, picking up ten goal contributions in the 2021-22 season.
It feels like he joined Wednesday at the wrong time though, leaving the club before Rohl was able to fully kickstart his time as manager.
Buckley was often played out of position as well, playing on either side of the midfield.
If he hadn’t picked up an injury at Christmas then he could have turned things around at Hillsborough, with the likes of Pol Valentin and Marvin Johnson doing exactly that.
However, his injury prevented the opportunity and he is now looking for a fresh start elsewhere.
Buckley still has three years left on his contract at Ewood Park, so is unlikely to be available on the cheap.
The Owls would be daft to go back in for him considering his problems last term, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he find another club and really impresses.
