Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to return to winning ways as they travel Grimsby Town tonight.
The Owls are back on the road in the Carabao Cup second round, having beaten Hull City earlier this month.
The team will be eager to pick up a win after enduring back-to-back defeats in the Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday’s recent results won’t deter their focus though and it seems highly likely that Danny Rohl will give a number of fringe players a chance at Blundell Park.
While it seems likely that players such as Pierce Charles, Akin Famewo and Sean Fusire could be named in the starting line-up, fans will be hoping to finally get a glimpse of one new summer signing.

Grimsby Town clash could be perfect for Chalobah debut
Nathaniel Chalobah is yet to make his debut following his summer arrival, having been sidelined since before the opening day.
It remains unclear when the midfielder will return to action, but it does seem like tonight’s clash would be the perfect opportunity to make his first appearance.
Grimsby currently ply their trade in League Two and have been beaten in two of their three opening fixtures.
If Chalobah is able to feature tonight, then it would be ideal for him to rack up some minutes before being plunged into Championship action.
The 29-year-old could well feature for the U21s before making his league debut, but it seems like the chance to play with the senior team in a less pressurised situation could be great for his recovery.
Chalobah wouldn’t have to go out at top gear on the trip to Grimsby and would be able to use the game as a way of getting some minutes in his legs and prepare for the Championship, while it would allow Rohl to get a proper look at where his new signing is at.
Chalobah will face tough competition from Shea Charles
The impending arrival of Shea Charles gives Chalobah that extra competition that he perhaps wasn’t expecting, so he will be dying to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
If he does play tonight then it is unlikely he would be ready to start against Millwall this weekend, but it will put him one step ahead as he looks to force his way into the starting line-up.
Meanwhile, Charles hasn’t played a minute of senior football this season either, so a start against the Mariners could hand him the advantage.
There has been little indication of when the former West Brom man will make his debut though, but supporters will hope that Rohl has been waiting to give him his opportunity against League Two opposition.
