Here is our predicted starting line-up for Sheffield Wednesday as they host Bristol City this weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday will be eager to make it two wins on the bounce after an impressive 2-0 win over Millwall last time out.

The Owls have now won two of their last three matches, also keeping two clean sheets in the process.

Danny Rohl‘s side are now just four points from safety, and this weekend could be a huge one as The Lions also travel to fourth-place Southampton.

Meanwhile, Bristol City have struggled with consistency recently. The Robins have also won two of their last three games, but hadn’t won in the four games prior to that.

In what could prove to be a real six-pointer for the Owls, we take a look at the team they could line up with at Hillsborough this weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday predicted XI vs Bristol City

Cameron Dawson has returned to training after a month out and could be available to start. However, after keeping three clean sheets in his last six games, James Beadle is likely to keep his spot in between the sticks.

Dominic Iorfa could also return to the match-day squad tomorrow but may not be fit to start, allowing Pol Valentin to resume his duties at right-back.

Sheffield Wednesday played with five defenders against Millwall, but could revert to a back four as they return to home soil.

This could see Liam Palmer left out of the line-up, with Di’Shon Bernard and Michael Ihiekwe partnering up in the heart of defence. Marvin Johnson keeps his spot on the left side for the 14th time this season.

Momo Diaby could return to anchor the midfield after starting in the last home win over Birmingham City.

Barry Bannan was an injury concern this week but Sheffield Wednesday will be hopeful he is available to start alongside Will Vaulks.

Ian Poveda will make his fourth start since joining on loan from Leeds United, while Anthony Musaba will be eager to continue his spectacular form after picking up a goal and an assist against Millwall.

Ike Ugbo rounds off the attack, looking to net his fourth goal in four games for the Owls.

Meanwhile, Josh Windass, Callum Paterson, Juan Delgado, Kristian Pedersen and Akin Famewo all remain sidelined. Bailey Cadamarteri is a doubt after missing the Millwall clash, while Ashley Fletcher is suspended after he was sent off in the closing stages at The Den.
